10 ways to live green
An infographic breaking down the environmental impact of our average day-to-day routine and tips for eco-friendly alternatives.
MOOD BOARDs

Initially, I had planned for my design to include colorful, pastel colors and whimsical illustrations. I wanted to convey a lighthearted and easy-going feeling to make it easier for people to digest information that can often feel heavy or worrisome.
SKETCHES

Infographics commonly refer to charts or arrows as paths to visualize data. However, my information was not necessarily data-driven or linear, but rather action based. It was important that I used icons to represent my points and organized the information in a way to callout different actions.

DRAFTS

I refined my sketches into a few drafts. I decided to utilize a more expected color palette of greens because the pastels that I initially intended for came across as confusing for this topic, which isn't ideal for an infographic. That said, I still leaned into softer, lighter greens.
FINAL
I liked the design of the third concept from my drafts the best, but there was too much information crowding the space and it was difficult to navigate through the different points. I refined the information to the most realistic and impactful topics and reorganized it into a more conceptual, easy to follow guide.
